Polywood Shutter Insulating Systems qualify for the Federal Tax Credit under the category of “Insulating Products.” Polywood is specifically designed to reduce heat loss or gain in a home or building and meets the requirements established for insulating systems as set forth by the IRS and IECC.

STEPS TO OBTAINING YOUR TAX CREDIT:

1. Add additional insulation protection to your windows when you purchase the Polywood Shutter Insulating System for your existing home between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2010.
2. Print our Manufacturer’s Certification Statement here. Fill out the information on the certificate.
3. Attach your sales receipt that shows the amount paid for your Polywood Shutter Insulating System.
4. Print and complete IRS form 5695 and take all items to your tax preparer for submission.
